Platinum Group Metals Corporation (PGMC) recently donated desktop computers to Hayanggabon Elementary School (HES) for the exclusive use of its E-Learning Center. The turnover of the computers, which are equipped with the latest software including the Microsoft Windows 10 Operating System, shall render the E-Learning Center operational and ready to accept students in the coming school year.
“We believe that having a quality education is the best tool to fight poverty. And gaining access to a fully functional E-Learning Center is essential to help students succeed in today’s connected world,” said Atty. Dante R. Bravo, PGMC President, who led the turnover ceremony.
In response, HES Principal Mrs. Merlita Terezo acknowledged the importance of the project to make Hayanggabon Elementary School one of the most technologically advanced institutions in the entire Claver District.
